Braydon Fisher has become most significant arm in Blue Jays bullpen

Toronto Blue Jays reliever Braydon Fisher deserves more recognition for his reliable performance out of the bullpen.

Fisher was acquired through the Cavan Biggio trade from the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2024, and he’s been a sensational addition.

His role has transformed in the bullpen this season as the Blue Jays have utilized him in different roles, from the bridge guy to the opener and, in Friday’s 6-5 comeback victory over the Baltimore Orioles, the closer.

Fisher picked up his first career save, which was a huge milestone in his professional baseball career. Along with Fisher, Charles McAdoo picked up his first major-league home run in his MLB debut and Canadian-born Adam Macko pitched his first MLB start.
