Brett Favre spent 16 seasons as the starting quarterback for the Green Bay Packers and was the driving force behind the team’s turnaround in the mid 1990s. He will forever be remembered as a legend for the Packers.
While his post-playing days have had some scrutiny attached to them, he still remains a role model for many Green Bay fans who watched him growing up. When Brett Favre announced he had Parkinson’s Disease, it hit home for many of those fans.
Now, he recently shared some photos of his treatment.

Brett Favre Posts Himself Receiving Parkinson’s Treatment
In a heartfelt post on social media, Favre let the public in on a little of what he is going through in present day:
Today, on Parkinson’s World Day, I’m thinking of everyone affected by the disease and their families and friends helping those with Parkinson’s every day.
He also shared the following pictures:



The Hall of Fame quarterback revealed in September of 2024 that he had been diagnosed with the disease. The early stages of his symptoms included muscle stiffness, rigidity, and tremors. He believes that the disease is linked to the concussions he suffered while playing in the NFL.
Favre’s stats throughout his career are staggering to say the least:
- 302 career games (298 career starts)
- 71,838 career passing yards
- 508 touchdown passes
- 336 career interceptions
- 525 career sacks
- 1,844 rushing yards
- 14 rushing touchdowns
There is no doubt that Favre got banged up from time to time throughout his career. That being said, fans are certainly praying for his recovery after his playing days.
