Bronny James has been one of the most scrutinized players in the NBA since being drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers in 2024. The 55th overall pick made history with his father, LeBron James, in his rookie season, becoming the first father-son duo to play together. Since then, Bronny has faced all the pressure that comes with being the son of one of the greatest NBA players of all-time.
His second season was a step in the right direction. The 21-year-old guard appeared in 42 games for the Los Angeles Lakers, averaging 2.9 points, 1.2 assists and 0.5 rebound in 8.9 minutes per game. He also spent time in the G League with the South Bay Lakers, where he averaged 15.6 points in 14 games.

Now, with the offseason underway, the former USC guard has been spending time with his family.
On Sunday, LeBron posted a video to his Instagram stories featuring himself alongside Bronny and his younger son Bryce James spotting new haircuts. Bronny and Bryce had traded in their longer styles for clean, low cuts.
The video went viral within hours, drawing reactions from fans:
“Got the band back together.”

“😂😂😂 them really being 2 mini LeBrons lol,” one fan wrote.
“Man i wonder how he convinced them Bronny and Bryce to get that cut,” another added.
“LeBron, Bronny & Bryce all rockin the same cut now😭😭😭,” said one.
“the james trio back with the same cut 🔥 bron really said family uniform. bronny and bryce looking fresh too,” replied another.
“I wonder if they ever look at him and realize their hairlines on the clock,” a fan asked.
“The James Fade 🔥😂✊🏿,” another joked.
Despite seeing limited minutes across his first two seasons, Bronny has become a fan-favorite on the Lakers. His third season will, no doubt, be the most important yet, and fans will expect him to finally assert himself more consistently in the rotation.
As for LeBron, his future remains unclear. The league’s leading scorer is an unrestricted free agent, and the NBA world continues to wait on a decision that could define the final chapter of one of the greatest careers the league has ever seen.
