Brooke Hogan is not letting Clearwater Police have the final word on Hulk Hogan’s death. After authorities closed the investigation and ruled the WWE Hall of Famer’s July 2025 death natural with no evidence of criminal wrongdoing, Brooke pushed back hard and made it clear she still has major questions.
During an appearance on Bubba the Love Sponge, Brooke questioned the timing of the announcement. She said the case was closed right after she personally had her father’s death certificate in her hands.
“I think the timing is perfect because I know that, let’s say, the estate and people involved are facing multiple different issues and lawsuits, and it’s perfect timing to wrap this up. It’s also perfect timing—I physically went and held my dad’s death certificate a day before they closed this case and a day before the Clearwater Police came out with a statement.”
Brooke then turned her frustration directly toward Clearwater Police. She said they did not treat her like family during the investigation and made it clear she did not appreciate how her name was being used.
“Second, I think my fans know that I have integrity. I try to keep my mouth shut, but dear Clearwater Police—keep my effing name out of your mouth. You have not treated me like family, you have not helped me, and you have not been in touch with me like you should have been.”
Brooke also connected the situation to tension surrounding Hulk Hogan’s funeral arrangements. She said she did not want her father presented in a way she believed he never would have wanted.
“Maybe I lost my privileges because I didn’t want a funeral my dad didn’t want. I didn’t want to see my dad being paraded around like a show pony with makeup on, smelling like formaldehyde.”
The comments show Brooke Hogan is far from satisfied with how things were handled after Hulk Hogan’s passing. While Clearwater Police have officially closed the investigation, Brooke is making it clear that she still believes there are unanswered questions surrounding the timing, communication, and treatment of the family.
