Bullish Phone Holster Review

Bullish Phone Holster
Grade: A
Teachers’ Comments: Charges your phone while keeping it secure on your cart.

Bullish recently sent one of their golf cart phone holsters for review. I think it’s a really cool piece of hardware that secures your phone to the golf cart while simultaneously keeping it powered.

A view of the bullish cradle attached to the cart. The removable power bank is the silver slab between cradle and phone.

The cradle is a solid piece of plastic with ratcheting sides to secure phones of any size. On the back are powerful magnets that — by themselves — likely would keep the cradle in place. Bullish, however, adds a velcro strap to add additional security.

It’s not going anywhere with that setup.

I’ve seen quite a few similar cradles in the wild, though. What makes the Bullish cradle different is it comes with a slim power bank that slips between the cradle and phone. The power bank delivers a wireless charge if your phone is so equipped ,and also has a 20W USB C port if it does not.

Loyal GolfBlogger readers will know that I am a dedicated walking golfer. Indeed, I only ride a cart when the course offers no alternative; even then I’ve usually found I can talk a course into letting me walk.

On the occasions when I AM forced into a cart, however, I’ve found the question of where to securely stash my phone of no small import. Putting it on the dashboard area seems to me to invite the device flying out of the cart with no notice.

The Bullish holster lets you the phone securely where you can keep an eye on it. If you use a phone app for gps distances, you can have it right at eye height.

I really like the Bullish holster and am keeping it in my golf go bag in the car for those moments when I find myself with no choice but to ride. In the meantime, I’ve used the battery on its own to keep my phone charged in my bag as I walk.
