This week, we’re voting on nationally televised and internet streaming pro wrestling shows that took place April 26-May 2, 2026 — Raw, NXT, Evolve, Dynamite, Impact, ROH on HonorClub, SmackDown, Collision, New Japan’s week worth of “Road to” shows, AAA & CMLL’s weekend shows, and everything else I’m no doubt forgetting.
But first, here’s the outcome of last week’s voting, and how those results changed our annual competition for the Cageside Cup.

Last week, I floated the idea of having a PPV/PLE multiplier, as a way to give winners of weeks that contain an AEW or WWE event a bonus as opposed to someone who finishes first when there’s not a whole lot going on. It wasn’t universally voted down, but the majority were opposed — and made a lot of really good points in the process. Thanks especially to FuddRuckus.
So we’ll truck along with our weird little system of trying to see who’s impressing our community most from week-to-week and year-to-year. Although I’m intrigued by 2bertu’s idea of moving this post to after Sunday PPVs…
