Carmella is done listening to people criticize her eye surgery, and she just made it clear she couldn’t care less what anyone has to say.
While speaking on her YouTube channel, the former WWE star addressed the comments she has received after opening up about her blepharoplasty recovery. Carmella said people have been telling her they do not see a difference, but that was exactly the point.
“I hope you do whatever you want to do for you and f*** what anybody else thinks because I’ve been reading so many comments on my posts about the surgery and people saying, ‘Oh, you don’t even look different. I don’t see the difference. What did you even have done?’ That’s the whole point. I did not want to look different.”
Carmella explained that she did not want to change her face. She only wanted to address the dark circles that had bothered her for years. She also praised her doctor, saying the fact that people cannot immediately tell what she had done proves the work was done exactly how she wanted it.
“I did not want to change my face. I love my face. I just hated that I always had dark circles. Not something that I wanted to fix. And I didn’t want to look different. And that’s why Dr. Irisky is the absolute best because if you can’t tell what I had done, amazing. He did his job perfectly and I love that.”
Carmella then fired back at those saying she should not have touched her face, making it clear she is not interested in outside opinions about her personal choice.
“And for anyone saying that I shouldn’t have touched my face, I shouldn’t. I don’t really care because you don’t see me commenting on your photo of you holding up a fish in your profile picture. No, you do you and I’m going to do me. Period.”
Carmella had already shown fans the early recovery process on Instagram Stories, including bruising, swelling, dryness, and the healing around her eyes just 72 hours after surgery. She also explained why she got the surgery in the first place, as it came from a place of insecurity. Now, she just made it clear that she is not apologizing for the procedure. Carmella wanted a subtle result, and she says that is exactly what she got.
