The CASC-OR Road Racing Championship heads east this weekend for the SMP Cup at Shannonville Motorsport Park, featuring two full days of action on Saturday, May 30, and Sunday, May 31. As Round 2 of the 2026 CASC Ontario Region road racing season, the event will showcase one of the most competitive and diverse lineups on the Ontario motorsport calendar.
Fans can expect a packed schedule featuring the Miata Canada Cup, Toyo Tires Formula 1600 Championship, Pirelli Tire Super Touring, Pirelli Tire Grand Touring, and Performance Cup Canada classes, highlighting everything from grassroots touring cars to high-performance GT machinery.
Spectator admission is FREE all weekend, courtesy of BMW Kingston, whose continued support helps bring grassroots motorsport to fans and families across Ontario.
Located halfway between Toronto and Montreal, Shannonville Motorsport Park is known for its fast, technical layout and consistently close racing. The circuit’s mix of high-speed sections and technical corners creates nonstop action and exciting battles throughout the field.
The Miata Canada Cup continues to deliver some of the closest racing in Canadian motorsport, while the Toyo Tires Formula 1600 Championship puts driver skill and precision on full display in lightweight open-wheel cars. Meanwhile, the Pirelli Tire Super Touring and Grand Touring categories feature an exciting mix of production-based race cars, combining speed, strategy, and variety across every session.
