Chelsea return to Premier League action on Saturday when they host struggling Burnley.
The Blues cruised to a 4-0 win over Championship side Hull City in the FA Cup fourth round on Friday evening, with Pedro Neto netting a hat-trick.
In the league, the west London outfit have won four of their five matches since Liam Rosenior was appointed as head coach in January, and the Englishman will expect to see his side continue their good form when they host the Clarets.
In the meantime, reports in Italy claim that the London giants are in the running to sign a Serie A defender.
As per Calciomercato, via CaughtOffside, both Chelsea and Liverpool are among the clubs keeping tabs on Juventus centre-back Gleison Bremer.
The report claims that the two Premier League sides are both interested in the Brazilian, who has impressed since joining the Old Lady from Turin rivals Torino back in 2022.
Since his move across the city, Bremer has made 110 appearances for Juventus across all competitions – the exact same number that he made for his previous club.

The central defender remains a key player for Juventus, and the report claims that the Serie A giants are therefore reluctant to sell the defender due to his importance to Luciano Spaletti’s side.
It is claimed that the Italian outfit could, however, be tempted into selling the defender if they received a fee in the region of £60 million.
Chelsea are said to be on the hunt for defensive reinforcements amid concern about the form of some of their current crop of defenders, while they have also struggled with injuries.
Liverpool, meanwhile, could lose Ibrahima Konate when the Frenchman’s contract expires this summer, and the Merseyside outfit are therefore considering potential transfer targets ahead of the summer window.
