Cincinnati Reds vs Minnesota Twins – April 19, 2026

The Cincinnati Reds have won the first two games of the series in Minnesota. After last night’s come from behind win the visiting club is looking for the sweep today of the Twins at Target Field. First pitch is scheduled for 2:10pm ET. Today’s game will be available on your normal television spots, but will also be on Peacock if you have that streaming service.

Starting Lineups

Starting Pitchers

Brady Singer

The start of 2026 didn’t get out to the best start for Singer. His ERA after three starts was 7.71, but his last outing against San Francisco he allowed just one run in 6.0 innings and picked up the win.

Last season the platoon splits were pretty big for Singer. Right-handed hitters didn’t find much success against him in any area at the plate. Teams stacked their lineups with lefties against him because they performed much better against him, hitting for a solid average and showing a good amount of power.

Bailey Ober

Minnesota has won the last three starts made by Ober, though it’s been more about how many runs they’ve scored (31 runs in those three starts) than how he’s pitched. The last time out he gave up four runs in 6.0 innings at home against Boston.

Last year Ober’s splits for home and road games were similar. Hitters had a better OPS against him on the road, but his ERA was only 0.03 apart for his home/road numbers. When it comes to his platoon splits he was a little better against lefties, but the difference was rather minimal.
