On the 37th anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster, clubs across the Premier League and beyond paid tribute to the 97 who lost their lives and the families and survivors affected.
On April 15, 1989, 97 supporters were unlawfully killed at Hillsborough football stadium, with an immeasurable impact on countless others.
It is the darkest day in the history of Liverpool Football Club and forever a poignant day in the history of sport, marked with respect across the country and beyond.
A minute’s silence was held at Anfield before the match against PSG, with a mosaic displayed on the Kop, and Tuesday brought further tributes.
Virgil van Dijk and Arne Slot were among those to lay a floral wreath at the Hillsborough Memorial at Anfield, while clubs in the Premier League and beyond showed their support as they honoured the 97 on the 37th anniversary:
They will never be forgotten ?
