WrestleMania may be over, but the merchandise numbers inside the stadium are now coming into focus — and one name near the top caught plenty of people off guard.
According to Fightful Select, Sean Ross Sapp was able to confirm which WWE Superstars led merchandise sales inside the stadium during WrestleMania weekend. The numbers only reflect Superstar-specific items and do not include general WWE, WrestleMania, or replica title merchandise.
CM Punk ended up leading the pack in stadium merchandise sales, continuing a trend that has followed him throughout his WWE return run. Punk also headlined Night 2 of WrestleMania for the first time in his career, giving him major visibility during the biggest weekend of the year.
Cody Rhodes finished right behind Punk at number two on the list. Rhodes main evented his fourth straight WrestleMania and has consistently been one of WWE’s top merchandise sellers for years, making his placement near the top far from surprising.
The biggest surprise came at number three, where Danhausen landed among WWE’s top merchandise movers. Just a couple of months ago, his placement might have seemed unlikely, but his popularity quickly showed up in sales numbers during WrestleMania weekend.
It was also noted that WWE officials were caught off guard by how strong Danhausen’s sales turned out to be, with multiple restocks reportedly needed to keep up with demand. His strong performance even led to him being added to Fanatics Fest following WrestleMania.
With WrestleMania always serving as WWE’s biggest merchandise weekend of the year, these rankings offer a clear look at which Superstars are connecting the most with fans right now — and in this case, one unexpected name managed to stand alongside some of the company’s biggest stars.
