Comedian Eric Andre Attacked By Jacob Fatu During WWE Monday Night Raw

Jacob Fatu turned Eric Andre’s ringside cameo on WWE Monday Night Raw into a show of force at Andre’s expense.

Andre was shown at ringside during this week’s episode in Baltimore, where Roman Reigns, The Usos and Fatu opened the night with an in-ring promo. The actor and comedian was received warmly by Reigns during The Tribal Chief’s entrance, as they both star in the upcoming Street Fighter film together.

The segment began as a showcase for Reigns and his family, with the Baltimore crowd loudly singing along for The Tribal Chief. Reigns eventually shifted the attention to Fatu, presenting him with the ula fala and making his standing within The Bloodline feel more official than ever.

Fatu’s presence, however, still came with obvious tension. Jey Uso has had issues with Fatu over his refusal to acknowledge him in the same way he acknowledges Reigns, and that friction was still hanging over the group. For a brief moment, it looked like the drama might stay inside the family.

Instead, Andre ended up in the worst possible spot.

As The Bloodline made its way out of the ringside area, Andre interacted with the group and appeared to get a little too comfortable around Fatu. After Andre put his hands on him and touched the ula fala, Fatu snapped. He quickly grabbed Andre and dragged him into the ring as officials tried to stop the situation from escalating.

Reigns initially stepped in and seemed to call Fatu off, giving Andre a short-lived escape from what was coming. That changed almost immediately when The OTC reconsidered and gave Fatu the signal to attack.

Fatu went to the top rope and crushed Andre with a splash, leaving him down in the middle of the ring. Reigns then ordered a second one, and Fatu followed through, splashing Andre again while officials and the rest of the ringside area watched the scene unfold.
