Conah Walker vs Sam Eggington – How To Watch It

Conah Walker returns to the ring this weekend as he takes on Sam Eggington.

The winner of Walker vs Eggington may land a shot at a world title at welterweight.

Since a loss in 2024, ‘The Wolf’ has been in brilliant form, with an impressive run of four wins on the spin, his last three coming by way of knockout.

The most recent loss of the Wolverhampton man’s career came at the hands of current IBF world champion Lewis Crocker.

He took ‘The Croc’ the distance and, in many people’s eyes, was unlucky not to get the nod on the judges’ scorecards, which read a unanimous decision win for the Irishman.

He returned just two months on from that loss and faced Lewis Ritson in Birmingham, whom he beat over the distance.

Walker was a betting underdog against Harry Scarff in Nottingham and had lost most, if not all, of the rounds going into the 11th, before launching a barrage of blows in the penultimate round that forced the referee to stop the contest.

In his last fight, ‘The Wolf’ was once again a wide underdog as he took on Olympic silver medallist Pat McCormack in Monaco.

Walker did well throughout the fight but was down on two of the judges’ scorecards going into the final round.

The Wolverhampton man pulled it out of the bag, scoring a dramatic final-round stoppage.

He takes on Sam Eggington, a tough opponent also from the West Midlands.

Eggington’s last loss came to former world champion Abass Baraou, who beat him via majority decision.

He has back-to-back wins since against Alan Velazquez and Lee Cutler.

‘The Savage’ was cut in his last fight against Cutler, and that injury forced the referee to halt the bout early, so he will be hoping it doesn’t reopen against Walker.
