Backlash 2026 went down at the Benchmark International Arena in Tampa, Florida. Danhausen’s time in WWE has been a wild ride already, and this night was no different.
Danhausen has captured the hearts and wallets of the WWE Universe since he broke onto the scene. Although he was initially booed with his surprise debut as he emerged from a giant crate, the Very Nice Very Evil Superstar has remained on each main roster brand.
At Backlash, Danhausen was set for a tag team match against The Miz and Kit Wilson. The biggest issue was that Danhausen’s partner was a big mystery. There were a few guesses all over the pro wrestling world, but nobody knew exactly who would come out when the time came.
Danhausen tried to clone himself on SmackDown this week, and that carried over to Backlash. When the time came, Danhausen drove out in his Danhausenmobile, and there was another crate on the entrance ramp. Danhausen opened the “Cloning Machine” to reveal a little person in mask, a mini-Hausen. Then they rode the Danhausenmobile to the ring.
Only time will tell if Danhausen’s Mini-Me will stay. He certainly showed off some impressive lucha skills during their match. At one point, Kit Wilson threw Minihausen back into the cloning machine, and it only duplicated him into several Minihausens.
At this point, it appears that WWE is preparing fans for a lot of very interesting angles down the line. At least we know that Danhausen is still Very Nice and Very Evil, and he may have company now.
