Danhausen’s Quest for Human Monies
The character, Danhausen, is obsessed with blimps because Danhausen is obsessed with himself. Over the years, Danhausen has worked hard to craft his character. It’s why Conan O’Brien was so proud of Danhausen when he made his WWE debut.
The former talk show host interviewed Danhausen before he made it big and became enamored with his commitment to the character. Danahusen told Conan on his podcast, Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend, that the Danhausen character is essentially “Conan O’Brien possessed by a demon.”
The demon-like character is very layered, as he started off “very evil,” only doing dastardly things to competitors in hopes of fame. However, the star noticed that he wasn’t resonating with fans. So, Danhausen evolved to have a “very nice” persona. The veteran started becoming more comedic, leaning into his money-hungry persona.
Money has become the sole driver of Danhausen’s intentions. That’s why TKO loves him so much. Danhausen can come out and shamelessly plug merchandise, and the fans will eat it up because it’s part of his comedy. In fact, Danhausen has sold out all of his appearances at WWE World, while other long-time Superstars haven’t!

If there are any signs that Danhausen has made it, the Goodyear Blimp officially changed its X name to: Goodyear Blimphausen. In fact, the tire company doubled down on Danhausen by doing a photo shoot with the WWE Superstar. Now, Danhausen is officially the profile picture and cover photo for the official Goodyear Blimp X account.
The Goodyear Blimp is the most famous blimp in America. In the previous century, blimps were an effective form of advertising, especially around large sporting and music events. Today, none is bigger than WrestleMania, and perhaps, none is bigger than Danhuasen’s debut.
