Danhausen’s Partner Was Former WWE Superstar! » TWNP-Wrestling News

Last night’s Backlash saw Danhausen reveal his mystery partner. While initial speculation had the fans excited, the actual reveal left many underwhelmed. Nonetheless, the Tampa crowd came alive as The Miz and Kit Wilson took on Danhausen and Minihausen. The minis from Danhausen’s debut made their return to aid The Very Nice, Very Evil star in victory. Now, it’s been revealed that Danhausen’s partner was a former WWE Superstar.

Danhausen Clones Minihausens

Leading into Backlash, Nick Aldis tasked Danhausen with finding a partner to face Kit Wilson and The Miz. The face-painted Superstar had some challenges, as he’s been known to curse others in the locker room. This caused Kit Wilson to make Danhausen take a look in the mirror. That’s when Danhausen realized he needed another Danhausen to team with him.

On SmackDown, the teeth-stealer stole Brie Bella’s hair to mix with his tooth to make a clone. Unfortunately for the horror movie aficionado, the Cloning Machine broke.

At Backlash, he revealed a Minihausen to be his partner. However, Kit and Miz got even more than they bargained for. The non-toxic Wilson threw Minihausen back into the Cloning Machine, only to produce multiple Minihausens! The chaos ensued, allowing Danhausen to drop The Miz with a Pump Kick for the win.

It’s unknown if the Minihausens will continue to pop up. However, the main Minihausen to serve as Danhausen’s partner was an ex-WWE Superstar who was excited to compete in the ring once more.

El Torito Returns As Danhausen’s Partner

It’s been ten years since El Torito ran around our screens with Los Matadores. Now, he’s running around with the Minihausens.

This could be problematic for this returning star, as people who return at Backlash, tend to get released early! That said, he might be in clear, perhaps Asuka broke the curse by retiring at this year’s Backlash!

Minihausen’s Past In WWE

The former bull mascot was on WWE TV for almost three years. During that time, he gained notoriety for his show-stealing WeeLC Match against Hornswoggle at Extreme Rules 2014. El Torito broke away from Los Matadores after The Dudley Boyz put the mini through a table in 2015.

The little bull would stick around for backstage segments sparingly after the breakup. He’d be released in 2016 during roster cuts, along with fellow mini-veteran, Hornswoggle.

After WWE, he returned to Mexico to wrestle for CMLL and AAA under the names Mascarita Dorada and Mascarita Sagrada. Under the Sagrada name, he competed at Worlds Collide 2025 to team with La Parka, Octagón Jr., and Laredo Kid. The foursome defeated the LWO’s Cruz Del Toro, Joaquin Wilde, Lince Dorado, and Mini Abismo Negro.
