EC3 Breaks Silence On His TNA Absence

EC3 has finally addressed his absence from TNA Wrestling programming.

The former two-time TNA World Heavyweight Champion has not appeared on television since his No Disqualification Match against Eric Young on the May 7 edition of TNA iMPACT!. During that bout, Young scored the victory after delivering a piledriver through a table before spiking EC3 onto an open chair.

With fans wondering about his whereabouts, Mike Johnson of Pwinsider reached out to EC3 directly for an update. In response, EC3 offered a characteristically colorful explanation for why he has been away from TNA television. He said,

“Michael, I was piledriven through both a table and spiked on an open chair. That was after Eric Young stomped on my d**k 17 times. Those are wounds that require some time and solitude to regroup and strategize.”

The expectation is that EC3 will return to the TNA landscape once the company’s current Slammiversary-related storylines have concluded. TNA’s Slammiversary 2026 pay-per-view event is scheduled to take place on June 28.
