EFL Easter Monday Preview: Wright, Campbell, and more

Coventry City’s dream of returning to the English Premier League is becoming more of a reality in recent weeks.

Haji Wright and his Sky Blues teammates will travel to Hull City on Monday in their latest EFL Championship contest. Wright returned to action in Friday’s 3-2 home victory over Derby County, playing 27 minutes off of the bench.

Despite missing a potential March U.S. men’s national team call-up, Wright is back available for Frank Lampard’s squad with six league matches to play. The Sky Blues sit 12 points clear atop the league table and are in a good position to seal automatic promotion back to England’s top-flight for the first time in 25 years.

Wright will hope to add to his 16 league goals this season, knowing that should he eclipse the 20-goal mark, it will be a new single-season best.

Elsewhere, George Campbell and West Bromwich Albion take on Blackburn Rovers. Aidan Morris and Middlesbrough visit Swansea City. Jonathan Tomkinson and Cheltenham Town face off with Cambridge United.
