Elena Rybakina captured the 2026 Porsche Tennis Grand Prix, defeating Karolina Muchova 7-5, 6-1 to secure her second Stuttgart title after 2024.
In front of a sold-out crowd of 4,400 inside the Porsche Arena, the world No. 2 delivered a composed and increasingly dominant performance. After edging a tight opening set, Rybakina took full control in the second, using her power and precision to push Muchova onto the back foot.
The victory marks the 13th career title for the Kazakh, who was awarded one of the most unique prizes in tennis — a Porsche 911 Carrera S Cabriolet — during the on-court ceremony.
“Winning a tournament for the second time is something very special,” said Rybakina. “It’s the first time I’ve managed it.” She felt the first set was decisive: “Winning it was extremely important and it made my start to the second easier.” She also singled out the atmosphere in the Porsche Arena. “It’s such a great tournament, I’d like to come back every year. We players really enjoy our time in Stuttgart.”

At the trophy ceremony, Rybakina received both the champion’s trophy and the keys to her new Porsche from Dr. Michael Leiters, Chairman of the Executive Board of Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG. Smiling, she noted that she can “luckily enough enjoy the winner’s car” this time around because she now has a driver’s licence.
Despite the loss, Karolina Muchova enjoyed an impressive week, reaching her first Stuttgart final after wins over Elise Mertens, Coco Gauff and Elina Svitolina.
“I had a lot of fun in Stuttgart, we players feel at home here,” she said. Missing out on the title this time around has done nothing to lessen her enthusiasm for the tournament: “I’ll definitely try to come back and win the Porsche.”
The tournament once again delivered a strong on- and off-court experience, drawing over 34,000 spectators across the week and selling out the Porsche Arena on multiple days.
“Over 34,000 spectators and world-class tennis, we’re delighted,” said Tournament Director Markus Günthardt. He also pointed to the atmosphere inside the arena, which was “emotional, fair and knowledgeable, exactly for what Stuttgart is known for”.

Operating Tournament Director Anke Huber echoed that sentiment, emphasizing the depth of the field: “We had an outstanding field of players, six of the tournament’s Top 8 were in the quarterfinals. It reflects the exceptional quality of the event.”
Finals day also featured a cultural highlight, as the Stuttgart Ballet performed an excerpt from Roman Novitzky’s “The Place of Choice” on Centre Court — the largest cast ever to appear in the Porsche Arena.
In doubles action, Nicole Melichar-Martinez and Liudmila Samsonova cruised to the title with a 6-1, 6-1 victory over top seeds Jelena Ostapenko and Shuai Zhang.
The tournament’s charitable initiative, “Aces for Charity,” also made an impact. A total of 272 aces were recorded during the week, prompting Porsche to donate 30,000 euros to children’s charities Stiftung Agapedia and the Stuttgarter Kinderstiftung.
