Our tiel winners last year were Isla Paterson of Gala Harriers and Hamish Hickey of Central AC.
Starting from Morrison’s Academy Sports Ground at Dallerie, the multi terrain course climbs over Laggan Hill before passing the Baird Monument and returning towards Crieff along the River Earn via Lady Mary’s Walk. Organisers have also introduced a new section of trail for 2026 around Turret Burn.
With around 220m of ascent, the route combines woodland trails, riverside paths, quiet roads and open hillside running.
The varied terrain gives the race a challenging but highly runnable feel, attracting competitive club runners alongside experienced trail and hill runners.
The Crieff 10K has built a strong reputation within the Scottish trail running calendar thanks to a scenie backdrop and welcoming atmosphere.
Strathearn Harriers also stage a Junior 5K Trail Race on the same morning; helping turn the event into a wider community running day around Crieff. The Junior events hosts championships for U14, U16 and U18 athletes.
