Enzo Amore Pulling Back From Indie Bookings Amid WWE Reunion Talk

The speculation surrounding Enzo Amore potentially heading back to WWE just picked up even more steam.

According to Fightful Select, people close to Enzo have been telling promoters that he is no longer taking future bookings that he would normally accept. That update comes as WWE interest in bringing Enzo & Cass back together continues growing behind the scenes.

It was noted that WWE has interest in reuniting Enzo with his former tag team partner Big Cass, with both men still maintaining strong relationships with several WWE producers from their original NXT run.

Enzo recently being spotted at the WWE Performance Center ahead of NXT on The CW already had fans talking. Now, news that he may be quietly stepping away from independent dates is only adding more fuel to the comeback rumors.

Meanwhile, Big Cass — now known as Big Bill in AEW — could potentially become available sooner rather than later. Although he remains under AEW contract through at least the end of May, he has only wrestled twice this year and has not competed since February.

Enzo and Cass became one of WWE’s hottest acts during the late 2010s thanks to their crowd reactions, catchphrases, and over-the-top promos before eventually splitting apart on the main roster.

There is still no official confirmation that either man is returning to WWE television, but Fightful’s latest update makes the possibility of an Enzo & Cass reunion feel far more realistic than it did just a few weeks ago.
