Remember when Factor released the One aero road bike with its wide-set fork legs and ridiculous tire clearance and one of the jokes on social media was that someone should race gravel on it?
Factor One Review: Speed, Geometry, Trade-Offs
Factor is making the bike I’ve long wanted, but is it a case of be careful what you wish for?

Well, it's happening. Kind of. The One itself isn't being raced off-road, but this week at Unbound, Factor offered a sneak peek at an unnamed new aero gravel race bike that is visually a close cousin to the road-going One. The bike – which first appeared at February's Santa Vall race – doesn't yet have a name, price or eventual availability, but Factor representatives did allow more than spy shots at start lines and shared some details about the new platform, which will be ridden by five Factor-sponsored athletes in the Unbound 200 on Saturday.
