WWE has gotten rid of a lot of talent today, but they’ve also added three more members to the SmackDown women’s division as Fatal Influence joins the blue brand.
The roster shake-ups within WWE continue with the latest adjustments being Fatal Influence joining the SmackDown brand.
The long and short of the story was that Paige and Brie Bella came out for a promo about winning the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania 42, putting the roster on notice. Answering the call immediately were Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss—two of their opponents from Las Vegas—who put out the challenge to have the first shot at the new tag team champions. Bella and Paige were quick to accept the challenge, with the match starting right then and there.

After fighting for a while, the match was thrown out due to Fatal Influence attacking. Jacy Jayne had been rumored for a main roster call-up for quite some time, and after dropping the NXT Women’s Championship to Lola Vice at NXT Stand & Deliver and failing to win her rematch for the title, this trade over to SmackDown makes perfect sense. Considering the releases of other talent earlier today, bringing Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid with her will also help with the loss of several other women such as Zelina Vega, Nikki Cross, and Alba Fyre.

On this past episode of Monday Night Raw, Ethan Page was announced to be the newest acquisition of that brand. Later on, Joe Hendry would also be advertised as part of the Raw roster going forward, later to be written of NXT television on this past episode on Tuesday night with a loss to Keanu Carver. Sol Ruca was also written off NXT for losing her Last Woman Standing match against Zaria on NXT Revenge, after wrestling Liv Morgan and losing that match due to interference from Zaria. The Street Profits and Jacob Fatu were also moved over to the Raw roster, while NXT has seemingly acquired Myka Lockwood going forward, as well as Lizzy Rain being advertised to make her debut on next week’s episode.
Stay tuned as there may be even more additions to the SmackDown roster on tonight’s episode, which has yet to finish as of this publication.
