Ferrari Fairtex worked through his difficult stretch and now steps back onto the biggest stage in Muay Thai with something to prove against Japan’s Shinji Suzuki.
Ferrari headlines a four-bout addition to ONE Fight Night 44 on Prime Video, broadcasting live in U.S. primetime from Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand on Friday, June 26.
The 28-year-old Fairtex Training Center product carries a 136-34 career Muay Thai record and five promotional wins into his bantamweight matchup. He faces Suzuki, a 40-year-old Japanese veteran from Fujimakick Muay Thai Gym with 33 professional striking wins.
The three other additions are a featherweight Muay Thai debut for English star Charlie Guest against French-Malian knockout specialist Bampara Kouyate. The card also features a bantamweight Muay Thai showdown between Nakrob Fairtex and British veteran Jacob Smith. A flyweight kickboxing contest between Azerbaijani Akif Guluzada and Colombian returning contender Johan Estupinan also takes place.
Ferrari returns having put together four consecutive wins before a difficult stretch in 2025 disrupted his momentum. The June 26 booking represents his clearest path back to the top half of the division, against a seasoned Suzuki who has shown the resilience of a fighter who has competed at the highest level for two decades.
Charlie Guest, Nakrob Fairtex, and Akif Guluzada round out ONE Fight Night 44 undercard
Charlie Guest makes his ONE Championship debut at featherweight Muay Thai against Kouyate, one of the tougher introductions available.
The 30-year-old holds the ISKA crown alongside WBC European and British Kickboxing titles. Kouyate, 31, trains out of Team Mehdi Zatout. He carries a 36-3 career record, and owns two knockout wins over Jo Nattawut and Luke Lessei. He arrives motivated to make a statement after a difficult recent result.
Nakrob Fairtex and Jacob Smith bring two fighters with back-to-back losses into a bantamweight Muay Thai matchup. Nakrob recently moved up to bantamweight to address issues at the lower weight. Smith’s return from a lengthy absence gives June 26 a particular significance.
In flyweight kickboxing, 20-year-old Guluzada from Team Mehdi Zatout and Team Chingiz Allazov looks to extend his perfect record. He faces Estupinan, who won five straight after his ONE debut before back-to-back losses disrupted his run.
