The Philadelphia 76ers are on the road on Monday night as they travel to take on the New York Knicks in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference semifinals.
Philadelphia enters Monday’s game coming off a victory in Game 7 in their first-round series against the Boston Celtics on Saturday night to set up a matchup against the Knicks in the second round of the playoffs.

In Saturday’s victory over the Celtics, Joel Embiid led the way for the 76ers as he recorded 34 points, 12 rebounds and six assists while Tyrese Maxey added 30 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists of his own.
Now Philadelphia will try to steal Game 1 on the road in Madison Square Garden over the Knicks on Monday to take a 1-0 series lead.
On the other side, New York enters Monday’s contest coming off a dominant 51-point victory in Game 6 of their first-round series against the Atlanta Hawks on Thursday night that secured their spot in the second round of the playoffs.

OG Anunoby led the way for the Knicks in Thursday’s victory as he ended the game with 29 points and seven rebounds while Mikal Bridges recorded 24 points, five rebounds and three assists.
While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference semifinals on Monday night, both squads may be without one of their key players due to injury.
76ers Injury Report: Will Joel Embiid Play?
For the 76ers, they have only one player listed on their injury report as they have listed Embiid as probable.

Philadelphia has listed Embiid as probable due to a right hip contusion and he is expected to play on Monday night against the Knicks.

This is great news for the 76ers as Embiid has been a key part of their success since returning from an appendectomy in the middle of the first round and he will likely continue to have a large role in the second round for Philadelphia.
Knicks Injury Report: Will Jeremy Sochan Play?
On the other side, the Knicks have only one player listed on their injury report as they have listed Jeremy Sochan as probable.

New York has listed Sochan as probable and he is expected to play despite dealing with left hamstring tightness, though he has not seen much playing time thus far in the playoffs.
