Finn Balor is not looking to test himself in a boxing ring or an MMA cage.
With TKO owning WWE, UFC, Zuffa Boxing, and PBR, there is always going to be talk about possible crossover moments. Balor was asked about that idea during a recent Zuffa Boxing press conference, but he made it clear that he knows exactly where he belongs. Balor said he respects fighters and boxers too much to act like crossing over would be easy.
“Well, obviously I have the upmost respect for the gentlemen that are up here beside me. I wouldn’t take it lightly stepping in the ring with some of the boxers or the cage with the fighters.”
Then Balor made his answer very clear. He is staying with WWE.
“They’re very disciplined guys, they know exactly what they’re doing. I’d rather stay exactly in my lane in WWE, thank you very much.”
Balor does have combat sports experience, as he holds a first-degree black belt in IBF submission wrestling. Still, that does not mean he is looking to jump into another world under the TKO umbrella.
For now, Finn Balor is keeping his focus on WWE, and he does not sound interested in taking a punch from a boxer or stepping into a cage with a trained fighter.
