Long-time ‘physics maestro’ Aristotelis Vasilakos is once again working in sim racing, joining Straight4 Studios as Chief Creative Officer.
‘Aris’ previously worked at Kunos Simulazioni for over eight years, rising to Head of Vehicle and Handling R&D and working on the likes of NetKar Pro to Assetto Corsa and Assetto Corsa Competizione.
He left the Italian studio in December 2023, working on a metaverse title, Wilder World, plus advising g-force simulator outfit Gravitom.
According to developer Straight4, he will provide the future direction of the embattled sim racing game Project Motor Racing.
The industry veteran will make the trip to the SimRacing Expo Charlotte and showcase a work-in-progress build with revised handling characteristics. Traixon will be there to test and interview.
The North Carolina event takes place in the Charlotte Convention Center between 22nd and 24th May 2026. Tickets are on sale now.
