Just as we were about to give up all hope of another Aston Martin Racing team (beyond that of the Rebel Rock Racing team who are racing within the GT World Challenge America Series) of competing within the SRO America trilogy of series that year – the Racers Edge team have today come to the rescue.
Having been obviously been trying to secure an appropriately funded driver(s) to race their new AMR Vantage GT4 Evo within either of the eligible GT America or GT4 America series for some months now, a very familiar face has finally taken them up upon their offer.
The team have just confirmed that former GT America GT4 Champion Jason Bell will make a return to the marque, series and team for this weekend’s series visit to Sebring after he stepped away from everything at the end of last year.
Having struggled with the AMR Vantage GT3 within the series over the last two years, the Vantage GT4 platform will be a more comfortable return to the track for the former double champion.
