Tom Brady spent 20 seasons with the New England Patriots building the most decorated career in NFL history. He won six of his seven Super Bowls as a Patriot, turning a franchise that had never won a championship into the defining dynasty of the sport’s modern era.
Brady left for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020 and promptly won a seventh ring, solidifying his status as arguably the greatest football player of all time. But New England was where he built most of his legendary resume.
Brady retired in February 2023 before joining Fox Sports’ No. 1 broadcast team alongside play-by-play commentator Kevin Burkhardt for the 2024 NFL season.

Now, Brady is headed back to the same stadium that shaped everything.
On Thursday, Fox Sports announced that Brady will return to Gillette Stadium for the first time as a broadcaster when the Green Bay Packers take on the Patriots in Week 9 of the 2026 NFL season.

Brady is entering the third year of a 10-year, $375 million deal with Fox Sports. He has found success in the media space so far, with the network averaging 19.63 million viewers in 2025, its best regular season since 2015.
Brady was also on assignment when Fox S broadcast averaged 127.71 million viewers, the most-watchedSuper Bowl in history. Given his trajectory in the booth, Brady will be ready for the moment and the network will be counting on the gravitational pull to deliver one of the season’s most-watched regular-season broadcasts.
