Frank Warren has provided the latest update on Tyson Fury and shared his thoughts on Dana White’s Zuffa Boxing.
Fury was pictured alongside Dana White at the UFC Freedom 250 card, leading many to question Warren’s contractual relationship with ‘The Gypsy King’.
Warren has promoted the two-time heavyweight world champion for several years, but Fury’s recent appearance in Washington sparked confusion among fans.

Despite the ongoing speculation on social media regarding Fury’s promotional future, his manager Spencer Brown publicly dismissed suggestions that Fury had signed with White while speaking to Gareth A. Davies.
“He’s not signed for Zuffa Boxing.

“It was all an illusion.
“He was invited to the fight over the weekend to go to the White House and meet the [US] President [Donald Trump].

“Turki Alalshikh done everything for him.
“It’s as simple as that.
“There’s no contract being signed.
“Frank Warren is still his promoter, but Turki underwrites his fights.”
Warren spoke to talkSPORT earlier and was asked for his thoughts on Dana White’s first few months in boxing with his promotional venture, Zuffa Boxing.

“I think it is a really interesting landscape.
“Up until now, it isn’t breaking any doors down. The fights they’ve put on have been some decent little shows, so we will see what happens.

“Zuffa is 60% owned by Turki Alalshikh.”
It was announced a few months ago that Fury had signed a contract to face long-time rival Anthony Joshua towards the end of the year.
With no location, date or promoter yet announced, Warren could not provide many updates, admitting that he, like many others, does not know where the all-British clash will take place.

“It was signed in January. I don’t know [where the fight will take place]. It has not been decided yet.
“The decision has not been made yet. When the decision is made, you will know. Who makes the decision? It is the people putting the money up.
“It would be lovely to see it in Britain. It would be great to have it in the UK. That’s where it should be; they’re two Brits.”
Joshua returns to the ring next month, eight months on from his bout against Jake Paul in December.

He headlines in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, where he will take on Albanian knockout artist Kristian Prenga.
Fury is also expected to have one more fight before facing Joshua, with August 1 rumoured to be the most likely date for his return. However, Warren could not confirm those reports.
“I don’t know what is going to happen yet. It is still being worked on and we will see what happens.

“It depends where it takes place as well.
“Let’s see what happens. Dana White said to judge him by the end of the year, so let’s wait until the end of the year and we will see what happens.”
