March 2021: The Shock That Changed Everything Life threw Anders a challenge he never asked for. A serious car accident at 110 km/h near Copenhagen left him with multiple fractured vertebrae. Doctors mentioned a wheelchair; he faced months of immobility and the grueling task of learning to walk again.
For a high-performance athlete, it felt like the end. But instead, it was a “transformative event.” Anders says it gave him five years of maturity in an instant, resetting his mental game in a way years of competition never could. Barely back on his feet, he returned to lead Denmark to a European bronze in 2021. Incredible.
The “Strawberry” and the Gear Today, Anders is a force of nature. He is famous for his unpredictable style and his signature “strawberry”—a wildly aggressive backhand sidespin.
He is a 100% DONIC athlete, a partnership that has lasted since he was 10 years old. He plays with his own signature blade, the Anders Lind Hexa Carbon, paired with BlueGrip C2 rubbers on both sides to generate those hard-to-read spins.
A Legend in the Making His recent streak is nothing short of legendary:
- February 2026: Quarterfinals at the European Top 16 after sweeping Dimitrij Ovtcharov.
- September 2025: Defeated World No. 1 Lin Shidong in a 4-3 thriller in Macao.
- Late 2024: Knocked out then-World No. 1 Wang Chuqin at the WTT China Smash.
Anders Lind is a living example of what we call L’OS du Champion: sometimes the hardest trials unlock the greatest strength. Keep him on your radar for the rest of 2026—he’s just getting started.
