Ghanaian youngster Prince Amoako Jnr reveals Messi-Vini Jnr inspiration – Ghana Latest Football News, Live Scores, Results

FC Nordsjaelland forward Prince Amoako Jnr says he watches legendary Argentina star Lionel Messi and Real Madrid’s Vinicius Jnr to improve his football skills.

The Ghanaian teen leads the most successful dribbles in the Danish Superliga after 30 matchdays, proving he is one of the most difficult players to defend in the league.

Amoako Jnr’s spectacular displays in Denmark has already seen him attract interests in Europe’s top league, and according to the teenager he learns by watching the Inter Miami and Real Madrid stars.

“I watch Messi a lot, because he could really do some wild dribbles. Today, Vinicius Junior, among others, is the one I keep an eye on, because I think we are a bit similar in playing style. So I watch them and what they can do, and then I try it myself,” he said.

“Of course, I can’t do it as well, but I practice, and that’s the first step towards getting better,” he added.

Meanwhile, the Right to Dream Academy graduate also finds inspiration close by watching ex-Nordsjaelland players Mohammed Kudus and Kamaldeen Sulemana.

“Yes, there was definitely that. You can be impressed by Vinicius Junior when you watch him on TV, but that’s also far away, while I could stand and watch Kudus and Kamaldeen in real life. I saw them. And when I looked at them, I got the feeling that my own dreams could also come true,” he continued.

“So in that way they have really helped me a lot. Watching them made me love football even more, and that they played and dribbled right in front of me, on the field where I also trained, meant that it felt like more than just a dream. It was realistic.

“Kamaldeen… What a player. But also the others. Kudus, Ernest, Simon. It was so crazy.”

Amoako will be joining the Black Stars for the first time ahead of the international friendly against Mexico later this month.
