Giannis Antetokounmpo’s ‘dream’ Lakers and Knicks comments show his mentality over potential trade

A Giannis Antetokounmpo trade could be brewing after the latest report.

Giannis Antetokounmpo and his agent Alex Saratsis have reportedly started to have a discussion with the Milwaukee Bucks about Giannis’ future.

Both sides are said to be discussing Antetokounmpo’s future in Milwaukee and whether his best fit is to stay or go somewhere else.

This has caused a lot of trade speculation and with the Bucks sinking in the Eastern Conference standings, a Giannis trade seems more likely now more than ever.

Giannis Antetokounmpo wants to see the European superstars in the NBA play in the big markets

Antetokounmpo might have had his eye on being traded to a big market team all along.

After Luka Doncic got traded last season to the Los Angeles Lakers, Giannis weighed in on the unexpected blockbuster trade.

Antetokounmpo, who is from Greece, made it clear that he would love to see all of the European superstars in the NBA play for big market teams.

Do you think Giannis Antetokounmpo will be traded before the trade deadline?

“You know what I want? I want Luka to Lakers. I want Jokic to Knicks.

“I want all the Europeans to go to the big markets, to see something incredible. This is what I want. This is my dream.”

Will Giannis Antetokounmpo be traded to a big market?

Antetokounmpo and his agent could decide that his best opportunity to win is outside of Milwaukee.

If the Bucks do make their superstar available for a trade, there would be nearly every NBA team inquiring about him.

Realistically, it would be the big markets that would have the strongest chance to land Giannis with the New York Knicks and the Lakers at the forefront.

Should the New York Knicks go all-in on Giannis?
