Giulia had a special moment on the June 1 WWE RAW in Turin, Italy.
The former Women’s United States Champion competed in the Queen of the Ring tournament and received a huge ovation from the Italian crowd. The reaction clearly meant a lot to her, especially because of her Italian roots. Giulia’s father is Italian, and she grew up around an Italian restaurant owned by her parents. After the show, Giulia took to social media and thanked the fans for the love they showed her in Turin.
“I love wrestling, I love stepping into the ring and fighting, I feel sensations I don’t know how to describe. It brought me back here to Italy where I found a magnificent audience that has given me an extraordinary experience, an impressive affection.”
Giulia then closed her message by showing even more love to the country and the fans who welcomed her.

Giulia may not have advanced in the Queen of the Ring tournament, but the night still turned into a memorable one for her. The Italian crowd made sure she felt the love, and she made it clear afterward that the moment hit her hard.
