Great Britain made it two wins from two at the Women’s World Championship Division I Group B with a 3-2 victory over hosts Spain in Puigcerdà.
It was a night of milestones as 18-year-old Lilly Endicott scored her first GB goal and three special caps were awarded pre-game.
Netminder Nicole Jackson helped secure the success on her 75th appearance with 23 saves, while Evelyn Brown was named as back-up and awarded her debut cap.
It was also a milestone cap for Beth Hill who made her 50th appearance.
GB score three goals in first period
The hosts went ahead through Indira Bosch’s shot from right-point through traffic (05:37) before GB scored twice in under three minutes.
Katie Marsden won the face-off and after Gale’s shot was saved, Marsden reacted first to the rebound to equalise (08:29).
GB went ahead when Aimee Headland won the face-off and Ruby Newlands fed Jodie Alderson-Smith at the top of the right-circle (11:09).
Nicole Jackson made two big close-range stops on a Spain powerplay and produced a world-class save to deny the hosts on a two-on-one break.
It was 3-1 when Chamonix Jackson cut inside off the right-wing and saw her shot saved, but Endicott forced home the rebound (16:55).

Spain close the gap in second period
Nicole Jackson made another outstanding save – this time to deny Bridget O’Hare’s deflected shot through traffic.
Spain netminder Carolina Moreno made a good save to stop a blast from right-point by Ellin Rees.
The hosts got back into the game when O’Hare played the puck towards the crease and Haizea Fernandez drove the net (32:01).
Jackson shuts the door to help secure win
Nicole Jackson continued to put on a clinic and made two saves to deny Spain on a three-on-two break.
Spain lifted Moreno for the extra skater and Jackson made two superb close-range saves as GB secured a vital three points.
There are no games tomorrow but GB return to action on Wednesday against Latvia at 16:30 (15:30 BST).
