On the red carpet for DC Studio’s Supergirl premiere with former TBS champ Willow Nightingale, AEW’s Harley Cameron was focused on Marina Shafir, her opponent in a Dynamite qualifier for the upcoming Survival of the Fittest match for Nightingale’s old belt.
Thankfully, no nipples were lost on Dynamite tonight (June 24).
Perhaps that’s because Cameron brought a little Kara Zor-El* with her to the ring for the bout with Shafir. It was in the form of Harley’s Supergirl-inspired ring gear.
Willow’s Babes of Wrath partner made like Superman’s cousin during the match…
… but it wasn’t high-flying that won her a spot in Survival of the Fittest along with Kris Statlander, Persephone. and Hikaru Shida. It was a Mother’s Milk counter into a three-count that sent Cameron into next week’s battle for the vacant TBS title.
One more Survival of the Fittest qualifier tonight, then there Queen Aminata beat ROH Women’s TV champ Red Velvet in their qualifier later on an action-packed Dynamite. There’s now only be one open spot in next Wednesday’s TBS title Survival of the Fittest match.
