Seth Rollins has been a cornerstone of WWE television programming for over a decade now. The Visionary returned to the global juggernaut after WrestleMania 40 and immediately inserted himself back into the World Title picture. Now, with a huge championship match at WWE’s upcoming PLE, Money in the Bank, Rollins might just get some unlikely assistance to clinch the win.
Who could possibly help Seth Rollins win the World Heavyweight Championship at WWE Money in the Bank?
Seth Rollins returned to WWE television programming a few weeks ago and was immediately confronted by Damian Priest, who offered to defend his World Heavyweight Championship against him at WWE Money in the Bank.
After accepting the bout, Rollins raised the stakes even higher. Should Priest emerge victorious over The Visionary, then Seth Rollins would not challenge for the title as long as Damian Priest is the champion. However, if Damian Priest loses his title to Rollins, then he would be forced to leave his faction, Judgment Day.
In the recent edition of Sportskeeda’s The Wrestling Time Machine hosted by Mac Davis, veteran journalist Bill Apter stated that Damian Priest’s cohort, Finn Balor, might interfere and cost him the championship, citing various differences the duo have been having in the last few months. This would see Damian Priest side with Rhea Ripley when she returns to feud with Finn Balor, who seemingly has accepted the Liv Morgan Dominik Mysterio dynamics.
“Here’s what I think is gonna happen… I think Damian Priest is going to lose with the interference of Finn Balor, who is having a lot of problems with him at this point. He’s told Finn Balor on Monday night RAW not to interfere, leave him alone. I think that’s gonna cost him the belt. And I think what’s gonna happen, is Damian Priest is going to become a fan favorite with Rhea Ripley coming to be with him after she finds out about this whole thing with Dominik and Liv Morgan going on, and there is Finn Balor involved.”
