Elliot Cadeau led the game in assists with 13, while Morez Johnson Jr. had a game-high three blocks along with 11 points and five boards. Off the bench, Trey McKenney went off for 17, while starters Nimari Burnett and Aday Mara combined for 27 and 10 rebounds with Mara also swatting away two shots.
Rutgers is 5-4 and already 0-1 in the Big Ten following an 81-65 loss to No. 1 Purdue on Tuesday that gave the Scarlet Knights four losses in their last five games. Dylan Grant leads the squad with 15.3 points a game while Emmanuel Ogbole leads them in rebounds and Jamichael Davis leads them in assists.
