On Friday, Caitlin Clark led the Indiana Fever to a remarkable 90-82 victory over the Golden State Valkyries. She recorded 22 points on 7-of-15 shooting, along with two rebounds, nine assists, one steal and one block in 32 minutes of action.

With the win, the Fever improved to 4-2 on the season, putting them in the top three in the WNBA standings.

Just a day later, on Sunday, Clark took on a different role away from the Fever and led a different set of athletes. The All-Star guard served as the grand marshal for the 110th running of the Indy 500.

It was reported on Tuesday that Clark would be the Grand Marshal of the event at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and she fulfilled her duty perfectly.

As Grand Marshal, Clark was tasked with giving the command to the drivers to report their cars before the Indy 500 began.

Clark stated the iconic phrase, “Drivers, to your cars!”

Caitlin Clark Turns Heads for Another Reason

Clark’s role as Grand Marshal wasn’t the only reason she trended online on Sunday, though. Fans took notice of the Fever guard’s outfit choice, particularly her bomber jacket that features a checkered flag design for the Indy 500.

She paired the jacket with a simple white cropped tank top and high-waisted black denim jeans.

The Fever shared a photo of Clark as she posed on the red carpet, sparking several reactions from fans.

“Clark’s glow-up is giving main character energy,” a commenter wrote. Another one said, “Caitlin looking [fire] following in @Catchin24 footsteps…no better representation of Fever.”

“W fit,” a poster added.

“CC IS HER!” a fan shared. Another supporter stated, “This cold!! CC.”

A sixth follower noted, “caity girl so pretty.”

Prior to the Fever’s game against the Valkyries, Clark also stole the spotlight with her outfit: RUADH’s Fionn jacket and Archer jeans, which she paired with Prada leather pumps.

Sure enough, Clark is making a name for herself as one of the WNBA’s best-dressed players.
