Trick Williams and Lil Yachty are apparently earning strong reactions behind the scenes in WWE following their recent appearances together on television.
According to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, WWE officials have been very happy with how Trick Williams has been performing recently, particularly during events tied to his home state of South Carolina.
The report noted that Williams’ hometown entrance and the crowd reactions surrounding him stood out internally, with some within WWE reportedly surprised — in a positive way — by just how strong the reactions were even considering it was his home area.
Williams has continued gaining momentum on WWE programming following his recent United States Championship victory, and WWE officials reportedly believe his overall presence has been landing extremely well with audiences.
At the same time, backstage praise has also been directed toward Lil Yachty for the effort and dedication he has shown while working alongside Williams on WWE television.
Yachty has spent the past several weeks heavily involved in Williams’ presentation, including appearances during the WrestleMania 42 build and involvement in storyline segments. According to Williams himself, Yachty has become deeply invested in wrestling behind the scenes and even wants to eventually train properly for a match instead of simply making celebrity appearances.
With Williams continuing to rise as one of WWE’s fastest-growing stars and Yachty openly discussing wrestling aspirations, it appears WWE may be far from finished with the pairing.
