The Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers had an incredible battle in the Eastern Conference of the NBA playoffs. In what turned out to be a seven-game series, the 76ers came back from 3-1 down to win the final three matchups and clinch a berth in the conference semifinals.
The two biggest stars who were healthy for most of the series, Celtics guard Jaylen Brown and 76ers center Joel Embiid, both played very well, but it was Embiid’s team that came out on top.
On Sunday, one day after the series concluded, Brown conducted a live stream on Twitch, in which he spoke to fans about the series and called out Embiid for the world to see.

Brown said that, along with many players in the NBA and in basketball in general, Embiid flops to draw fouls during games.
“This is my personal opinion on basketball; some of y’all might disagree,” Brown said. “Flopping has ruined our game. Joel Embiid is a great player, one of the best bigs in basketball history, [but he] flops. He knows it, this ain’t breaking news. It is what it is.”

In the seven-game series, Brown averaged 25.7 points per contest to go along with 5.7 rebounds and 3.3 assists. As for Embiid, he missed the first three games of the series with an injury. In the four games he did start, the 7-foot center put up 28.0 points, 9.0 rebounds and 7.0 assists per game.
Despite the flopping that Brown called out Embiid for, he and the 76ers advanced into the second round of the playoffs, where they will face off against the New York Knicks.
Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals between Philadelphia and New York is scheduled for Monday at 8 p.m. ET. The game at Madison Square Garden can be seen on NBC and Peacock.
