- JDM: Japanese Drift Master’s physical PS5 release coming on 14th August 2026
- Multiplayer open beta available to try on PC now
The physical PlayStation 5 version of JDM: Japanese Drift Master has been revealed, with the game set to hit the shelves on the 14th of August, 2026.
Developer Gaming Factory and partner Curveball Games will spearhead the boxed release of its ode to Japanese drift culture, with prices set at £34.99 / $39.99 / €39.99.
Although the game initially received middling reviews upon its 2025 release, subsequent updates and DLC have improved the overall driving experience, with PS5 and Xbox Series X|S digital releases and additional console wheel support further enhancing its appeal.
A multiplayer beta phase recently got underway for the PC version, too, hopefully bringing a key component for JDM’s longevity to the table ahead of its PS5 physical release.
Gaming Factory also plans to launch the American Classics DLC, bringing six American-themed (and unlicensed) cars to the game on the 25th of June this year, adding a little more variety to its fictional Guntama setting.
