Jesse ‘Bam’ Rodriguez looks to become a three-division world champion when he faces WBA bantamweight world champion, Antonio Vargas in Arizona on Saturday.
Eddie Hearn‘s Matchroom promote Bam Rodriguez vs Vargas at the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, live on DAZN.
Bam (23-0, 16 KOs) is a consensus, top five pound-for-pound star and enhanced those credentials by unifying the super flyweight division last time out, knocking out Fernando Martinez in Riyadh in November.
The 26-year-old former flyweight titlist, is expected to return to 115 pounds for an undisputed title clash with recently-crowned IBF champion, Andrew Moloney before a mouthwatering showdown with Japanese superstar, Naoya Inoue.
After winning the WBA interim bantamweight belt with a 10th round stoppage of Winston Guerrero, Vargas (19-1-1, 11 KOs) was held to a draw with Daigo Higa last July.
The 29-year-old Texan was recently crowned as WBA champion, with Seiya Tsutsumi placed in recess.
Prediction: Bam is looking increasingly impressive with every outing and can stop Vargas to become WBA champion.

Turhan defends IBF crown against Tellez
Elif Nur Turhan makes a second defence of her IBF lightweight world title against Gabriela Tellez.
Turhan (13-0, 8 KOs) ripped away the IBF belt from Beatriz Ferreira in a fifth round stoppage win in December, but seemed fortunate to secure a split decision victory over Taylah Gentzen in January.

19-year-old, Tellez (7-0, 3 KOs) fights for a maiden world title in just her eighth professional bout.
Prediction: Tellez can become the new world champion on points.
Cardenas-Martinez rematch
Arturo Cardenas and Jordan Martinez look to settle their rivalry after being held to a split decision draw in February.
Cardenas (17-0-2, 9 KOs) retained his WBC Continental Americas super bantamweight title, but the pair could not be separated.
Prediction: Martinez (16-0-1, 15 KOs) can take this one on the cards.

Remaining Undercard
In a battle of unbeatens at lightweight, Adrian Rodriguez (10-0, 6 KOs) can prevail with a knockout over Elias Montoya Terraza (13-0, 8 KOs).
Cuban amateur standout, Ronny Alvarez (6-0, 5 KOs) can maintain his perfect record by handing Filip Stankovic (9-3, 6 KOs) a first defeat by stoppage.

Trini Ochoa (21-1, 9 KOs) should get back to winning ways by halting Cristian Perez Hernandez (12-4-1, 7 KOs) in their super lightweight meeting.
Texan super welterweight, Hector Beltran (7-0, 5 KOs) should stop Shaquile Felicia (3-1, 1 KO) while featherweight prospect, Xechal Xavier Esquivel (5-0, 4 KOs) can do the same against Rayshawn Taylor (1-1-1, 1 KO).
