This year’s WrestleMania storylines centered on multiple royal families in wrestling. While we aren’t sure which family Randy Orton was referring to, another hidden familial line within the company is now coming to light. It turns out Je’Von Evans is a cousin of B-Fab. Malachi Jeffers and Brianna Brady are real-life cousins and are just starting to share the news. Here’s the latest on this growing wrestling family.
Je’Von Evans Is A Cousin of B-Fab
Leading into the Showcase of the Immortals, Ringer Wrestling asked B-Fab her favorite WrestleMania moment. The former Hit Row star said it was the WrestleMania when The Rock returned. She was amazed by the crowd’s reaction after he had been gone for so long. At that point, the hosts told her that Je’Von Evans had the same answer.
That’s when B-Fab revealed that she is a cousin of Je’Von Evans:
“Ah, sick. And he’s my cousin. I just told someone over there. They didn’t believe me. Yeah, that’s my cousin.”
Her answer took them aback, but the hosts, but everyone had a good laugh as they confirmed, “real Black people cousins?”
B-Fab confirmed and explained why she usually keeps the fact that Je’Von Evans is her cousin quiet:
“And, I almost didn’t want to say anything because they’re like, ‘All right, like cousin-cousin or like cousin. I’m like, ‘No, he’s my cousin.’
Breaking news. Breaking news. Yeah.”
Je’Von Evans is a new sensation in WWE, and he has the cockiness to back it up. In fact, his attitude led to a spat with Ricochet, prompting WWE to change some protocols. Perhaps B-Fab can channel some of that into her new persona as the former Hit Row member settles into her new heel role.
WrestleMania 42 Sunday: A Big Night for Cousins B-Fab and Je’Von Evans
It was a family affair at this year’s WrestleMania, especially on Sunday night. Je’Von Evans made his WrestleMania debut in a show-stealing performance during the 6-Man Ladder Match.
While The Bouncy One came up short in his quest for the Intercontinental Title, he was one of the last men standing. B-Fab’s cousin certainly made an impression on the WWE Universe.
Meanwhile, B-Fab had a WrestleMania moment for herself. The baddie showed up with Michin to assist their newfound partner in Jade Cargill. B-Fab and Michin tried to run interference on Rhea Ripley, but The Eradicator eradicated the two henchwomen.
Even though B-Fab tried her best, Rhea Ripley’s partner, Iyo Sky, came down to even the odds. In the end, Rhea Ripley defeated Jade Cargill to secure her fourth Women’s Championship.
