Jey Uso Advances In King of the Ring Tournament With Chaotic SmackDown Victory

Jey Uso moved one step closer to becoming King of the Ring after winning a high-energy Fatal 4-Way match on the June 12 episode of SmackDown.

The match featured Jey Uso, LA Knight, Finn Balor, and Royce Keys, with the winner advancing to face Je’Von Evans in the next round of the King of the Ring tournament.

Before the match officially began, Knight attempted to mimic Uso’s signature entrance, but Uso quickly cut him off and started the fight early. The action picked up immediately, with Keys showing strength by hitting a powerslam on Uso. Knight broke up the pin and followed with an elbow drop and stomps in the corner, only for Keys to respond with a clothesline.

Keys continued to impress, delivering an avalanche powerslam to Balor, but once again Knight interrupted the pin attempt. The fight spilled to the outside, where Keys drove Knight into the ring post. However, Uso answered with a superkick before being caught mid-air during a suicide dive and dropped onto the apron.

Tensions escalated further when Jimmy Uso appeared at ringside, leading to a brief face-off with Keys. Moments later, Solo Sikoa made his way down, backing Keys and shifting the balance outside the ring.

In a rare moment of unity, Uso, Knight, and Balor worked together to clear the announce table and powerbomb Keys through it. Back inside the ring, Balor regained control with multiple slingblades and connected with Coup de Grace on Uso. The pin was broken when Keys pulled Balor out of the ring.

As the closing moments unfolded, outside interference again played a role. Sikoa distracted Keys, allowing Knight to land a baseball slide and follow up with his top-rope elbow drop. Keys avoided the BFT, and Sikoa then struck Knight with a Samoan Spike, setting up Keys for a spinebuster.

With victory seemingly within reach for Keys, Uso capitalized on the chaos. He hit a splash on Keys during the pin attempt and stole the win.

With the victory, Uso advances in the King of the Ring tournament and is now set to face Je’Von Evans in the next round.

On the other side of the bracket, Oba Femi will face Dominik Mysterio.
