Jonathan Coachman Calls Danhausen Experiment a Waste of Time and He’s Over It

Jonathan Coachman completely trashed Danhausen after the bizarre Minihausen segment at WWE Backlash.

During Backlash, Danhausen introduced Minihausen as his mystery partner against The Miz and Kit Wilson in a segment that featured cloning machines, multiple Minihausens, and over-the-top comedy throughout the match.

After the show, Coachman unloaded on the entire thing on Twitter/X and made it clear he thinks the Danhausen gimmick is hurting WWE more than helping it.

“Okay you all have to stop coming at me about this ridiculous Dan Hausen experiment. One of the biggest storylines you could actually bet on who was gonna be as partner tonight and they decide to go with a little person. What are we doing? I’m all for entertainment and wrestling, but this is absolutely a complete waste of time and just dumb. And Wade Barrett said he’s making a mockery. That’s exactly what this is.”

Coachman continued by saying the act is already getting stale for him, despite Danhausen’s popularity with younger fans and merchandise sales.

“I understand he’s popular with the kids and the T-shirts and stuff. But this is gonna get old real quick and for me I’m already over it. This is an absolute waste of time.”

He also criticized WWE for not using a much bigger surprise name for the mystery partner spot. Coachman closed things out by taking one more shot at the crowd reaction during the match.

“We couldn’t get CM Punk, or Oba [Femi], or Drew [McIntyre]. I mean the whole point is to embarrass Kit Wilson and The Miz one more time. This doesn’t do any of that not even close to that. It just embarrasses the company.”

“Listen to the crowd you can hear a pin drop.”

Despite the criticism, a lot of fans online appeared to enjoy the total absurdity of the segment, especially after multiple Minihausens started appearing during the match.
