WWE superstar Ludwig Kaiser has overcome one obstacle in his ongoing legal situation when a judge granted him permission to continue traveling domestically and internationally.
In a new court filing on Tuesday, Orange County Judge Andrew Cameron granted Kaiser’s motion to travel for work purposes – something which many saw coming when the prosecution did not file any objections to his request. It allowed Kaiser to travel to Mexico last week in order to compete for WWE-owned AAA.
In his ruling, Cameron did state though that despite being able to travel freely, Kaiser must appear in person for future court dates, abide by all conditions of hid bond, consuming alcohol but not to an intoxicated state and not using any drugs unless prescribed by a doctor.
This cause having come before me upon Defendant’s Motion for Travel, and the Court being fully advised in the premises, it is hereby ordered and adjudged:
1. Mr. Barthel is permitted to travel throughout the United States and internationally during the pendency of this case.
2. Mr. Barthel shall appear in person for all required future court dates.
3. All other previous conditions of release remain in effect.
Kaiser is facing a misdemeanor battery charge after an April incident that involved a male who also resided in his apartment complex. The victim claimed that Kaiser and a female were aggressively kissing while the three of them were in an elevator. The victim claims he told them to “please have some manners,” which led to Kaiser assaulting him outside of the elevator.
