Julien Alfred runs 21.86 for the 200m WL (and 10.93 ) at Texas Invitational

Julien Alfred ran 21.86 on April 30. The next day, she races 10.93. Looks like the Olympic champion is pretty darn fit for 2026 and ready to fly! Looking forward to seeing Julien competing in 2026!

Alfred 21.86 WL at 200 m

AUSTIN (USA, Apr 30): St. Lucia star and 100 m Olympic winner Julien Alfred won the 200 m at Texas Invitational with 21.86 (+0.5) WL and equaled her second-best ever time. It is also the second-fastest ever before May in a season. Second U20 Elise Cooper 22.65. Irish record holder Rhasidat Adeleke won the other heat in 22.86 (+0.8). World champion in the 400 m from 2022, Michael Norman ran his first individual race since the Olympic Games in Paris and won the 200 m in 20.43 (+0.7). Kody Blackwood clocked 49.26 in the 400 m hurdles and Canadian Anicka Newell cleared 450 in the pole vault.
