AUSTIN (USA, Apr 30): St. Lucia star and 100 m Olympic winner Julien Alfred won the 200 m at Texas Invitational with 21.86 (+0.5) WL and equaled her second-best ever time. It is also the second-fastest ever before May in a season. Second U20 Elise Cooper 22.65. Irish record holder Rhasidat Adeleke won the other heat in 22.86 (+0.8). World champion in the 400 m from 2022, Michael Norman ran his first individual race since the Olympic Games in Paris and won the 200 m in 20.43 (+0.7). Kody Blackwood clocked 49.26 in the 400 m hurdles and Canadian Anicka Newell cleared 450 in the pole vault.
