The Tsunami East Africa side has unveiled a strong and diverse squad ahead of the 40th edition of the Tradition HKFC 10s set to take place in Hong Kong.
The 2026 edition of the tournament will run from 14–16 April at the Hong Kong Football Club, marking a historic milestone as the competition celebrates its 40th anniversary. For the first time, the event has been expanded to a three-day format, aligning with the week of the globally renowned Hong Kong Sevens.
Tsunami East Africa heads into the competition placed in a competitive Pool A, where they will face Tradition YCAC, Froggies Club, and Chennai Bulls Selects in what promises to be a thrilling group stage.
The East African outfit blends experience and emerging talent drawn from Kenya and Uganda, with a notable presence of players from top Kenya Cup sides such as Kabras Sugar RFC and Menengai Oilers.

The squad includes Alex Vaaia, Ben Joseph Love, and Panapasa Qeruqe Nasove, who add international flair to the side. Uganda is well represented with the likes of Emong Eliphaz, Jadwong Joseph Aredo, Jjuuko Jude, Massanganzira Isaac, Odugo Faragi, Omoding Mark, and Wako King David all named in the traveling team.
Kenyan-based players feature prominently, with Mugerwa Asuman, Nyambua George Otieno, Obonyo Alfred Orege, Young Barry Robinson and Okoth Walter all drawn from Kabras Sugar, while Mukamiti Elkeans Musonye and Onsomu Samson Bogongo represent Menengai Oilers. Kuneshanukway Shaloom also make the squad, further strengthening the team’s depth.
